Wieder allein zu Haus 1997 Full Cast & Crew

Alex D. Linz won the part, beating another child star, Philip Petrie, who had also tried out for the part of Sammy in One Fine Day , a role also taken by Alex D. Linz. There are some scenes in the film that depict school (i.e., boarding the bus, and the FBI agents heading to the school to interrogate Karen, Stan, and Molly). Critical reception for the film was generally negative upon release. As Alex flees to Mrs. Hess' garage, he rescues her where in Beaupre comes out of hiding and corners Alex, threatening to kill him if he doesn't give up the chip. Alex manages to scare him off with a bubble gun painted to resemble a Glock. Karen suddenly calls Alex on the phone, and he lies by saying he is playing Chinese checkers with Mrs. Hess.
The plan to get the chip back was an over-complicated, risky and time-consuming one. The four criminals knew the description of Mrs. Hess and the neighborhood she lives in. She would then not have any reason not to tell them that she gave the toy car to Alex as payment . Then Petr and Alice could have posed as a couple (just like they did with Mrs. Hess in the movie) and claim the toy was meant for their child, and offer the family a sum of money . They would have gotten the chip the very same night and be on their way.

Although he has a quick run in with Petr, Alex takes refuge in Mrs. Hess's house. The FBI finally make it to the neighborhood, arrest all four of them, and recover the missile chip. Alex is then reunited with his entire family and is promised a large reward for finding and returning the stolen chip. After Jernigan snaps a picture of the number on the cab, Alice and them go to the cab depot and wait for the cab to show up. They arrive and Alice checks out the houses, saying that all of them are all almost like the cab driver described, after which Peter decides that they should search them all.
The fact that John Hughes had a hand in writing and producing this movie goes a long way, too. The jokes are smart, the characters are fleshed-out, plus -- a bonus -- Scarlett Johansson fans get to see her in a bit part as Alex's older sister. Since the 1990 movie hit theaters, it has been a perennial Christmas classic — and its adorable protagonist Kevin McCallister remains a Yuletide staple. While the movie’s storyline places it in Chicago, the house used in the third Home Alone is located in Evanston — a city 12 miles north of Downtown Chicago.

Alex's family brings the agents to their house, where the police arrest Jernigan, Unger and Ribbons. Beaupre, however, managed to escape and hides in the snow fort in the backyard. Alex's brother Stan's pet parrot drives the remote control car into the snow fort and threatens to light fireworks which are lined around the inside. Since he only has one, the parrot then lights the fireworks, and escapes. Beaupre's cover is literally blown, and the police arrest him.
While they're having Chinese food, Alice realizes that the person who was controlling the car and who was calling the police is a kid. During the night, Alice calls Alex's mom on the phone and pretends to ask her about her "son Bradley's" missing toy car. Before Alex cuts off the conversation, his mom tells her that he had gotten the car from Mrs. Hess from across the street. Thanks to Jernigan intercepting Alex's mom's phone call, Alice answers her and claims that she disconnected her and that Bradley must've misplaced the toy car.

8-year-old Alex Pruitt (Alex D. Linz) is given the remote control car by Mrs. Hess for shoveling snow, but she lectures him for scratching numerous itches. After returning home, Alex undresses to discover that he is ill with chickenpox and therefore, must stay home from school. At the same time, the thieves arrive at Mrs. Hess' neighborhood late at night in a rented minivan, wherein they vow to return in the morning. Alice later acquires a house nearby and the thieves use it as their hideout, wherein they start systematically searching each house to find the chip. After portraying the McCallister family matriarch, O'Hara continued to act in various films and on several TV series, including Glenn Martin DDS and Skylanders Academy. Most recently, she delighted audiences with her hilarious performance as washed-up soap opera star Moira Rose on Schitt's Creek, a role that earned her an Emmy for outstanding lead actress in 2020.
Alex rigs the house with booby traps with help from his pet rat Doris and his brother's loud-mouthed parrot. Beaupre, Alice, Jernigan and Unger break in, spring the traps, and suffer various injuries. While the four pursue Alex around the house, he flees and rescues Mrs. Hess, who has been duct taped to a chair in her garage by Alice. Beaupre ambushes Alex, but the latter uses a bubble gun resembling a Glock to scare him off. This was likely done purely as a visual gag, as when Jernigan is electrocuted, his shotgun shells fire (while still on the belt!).

They block off the road to the house, and Alice duct tapes Mrs. Hess to a porch chair in her garage and leaves the door open. By this point, Alex has armed the house with more violent booby traps. He runs to the attic and goes into the dumbwaiter down to the basement. Unger and Jernigan jump, but the trampoline gives way and they fall into a frozen pool. Alice then wriggles her way into the dumbwaiter chute, but falls down to the basement.
That evening, the four crooks test a theory that Alex has the chip and alert him that they are coming. He resolves to subdue them by himself and makes preparations to booby trap his house. The next morning he manages to deflect an attempt by Alice to enter the house and after his mom reluctantly leaves him again, puts the finishing touches on his traps. As the four crooks invade the house, they fall right into each trap he set.
Alice was the sole female of a group of four thieves that work for a North Korean terrorist organization. Her partners are Peter Beaupre , Earl Unger , and Burton Jernigan . We first see Alice and her group as they are retrieving a stolen military chip from a client. After receiving the chip, Alice and Beaupre place the chip in a remote-controlled toy car and head for the airport. Parents need to know that in Home Alone 3 the bad guys get really banged up by a smart little kid. Traps and tricks at every turn result in painful pratfalls involving electrocution, car accidents, and explosions.
There is even a better rationale for why the hero is left home alone. Played by a winning newcomer named Alex D. Linz, who seems almost too small for a middle initial, the kid gets the chicken pox. His dad is out of town on business, his mom has an emergency at the office, and his brother and sister are at school. So he's left home alone, with a beeper number, a fax number, a cell phone number, the number of Mrs. Hess across the street and dialing 911 as a fallback position.
The idea was scrapped as Pesci and Stern refused to reprise their roles and went on to pursue other projects, and Kieran felt he could not follow in his brother's footsteps as the lead. Hughes then re-wrote an entirely different screenplay without any of the characters from the preceding films. Meanwhile, Alice jumps over the gate, but she gets caught in mud and falls on a string attached to a Santa flower pot, which hits her on the head. Jernigan then sees an open window on the second floor and goes to the garage to get a ladder. He sees a pair of shoes sticking out from the ceiling and thinks it's Alex, but it's actually a stuffed monkey attached to a lawnmower cord.
In the furnace, Alice and Beaupre finds Jernigan in the bathroom. All the while, Alex goes to opposite sides of the house and blows the dog whistle which wraps the collar around Alice's legs. When Alex blows the whistle one last time, Rollie runs to the back of the house, dragging Alice on her back through the bushes which knocks off her hat and glasses until she breaks free of the leash and Rollie runs off. She then asks for assistance from being, 'exposed', and Jernigan tells not to draw attention to herself. She puts her hat and glasses back on and walks away, after which the other crooks pick her up and prepare to come back after the snowstorm hits. Alex blows a dog whistle which Rollie hears and causes him to go over to the house.
